Your client reports,
inside Seedly.
1. Download
Sign in with your checkout email and open Client Reporting in Downloads. Active All Access members use the same library. Download the source archive and integrity manifest, verify the SHA-256 and extract. Read README.md, QUICKSTART.md and docs/IMPLEMENTATION_CONTRACT.md.
2. Install
Back up your separately licensed Seedly CRM 5.9.6 host. You need extension API 1, Node.js 22+, native dependencies and your own source and deployment access. Review the dry run before applying to a designated test installation.
node bin/install.mjs --seedly /absolute/path/to/seedly
node bin/install.mjs --seedly /absolute/path/to/seedly --apply
node bin/doctor.mjs --seedly /absolute/path/to/seedlyGenerate the complete native Convex API. Follow QUICKSTART.md to run the backend and UI tests, native type checks and production build. Deploy your backend before the web app.
3. Configure access
Enable the client_reporting plan feature and ClientReporting permissions. Assign report owners and give managers the appropriate account-wide access. Native Contacts, Tasks, Invoices and Files permissions are checked independently. Optional Support Desk, Client Onboarding and Client Success sources require their own installed modules and permissions.
4. Build your report
Choose an existing contact, reporting period and one of eight starter templates. Use the Design tab for heading and body fonts, colors, spacing, header composition and type sizes. Use the Section tab for layout, alignment and content. Reorder or duplicate sections and save useful layouts as custom templates.
Add narrative, scorecards, bar or line charts, photos, video, audio, PDFs or links. Calculated metrics support sum, difference, ratio, percentage and ROI. Files use the native Seedly library; supported video embeds load explicitly.
5. Refresh and review
Refresh individual data sections or all sources to save dated snapshots. Task activity, invoice activity and optional module data use bounded queries and identify partial results. Prior-period comparisons use the same interval length; open and overdue counts describe the current state. Invoice activity is based on invoices created during the period, not cash received during the period.
Run the readiness check. If two-person review is enabled, another report manager approves the draft; later edits invalidate approval. Preview the report before publishing.
6. Publish and share
Publishing saves a fixed version. Enable both workspace sharing and sharing for the published report to display it in the connected contact’s existing Seedly portal. Clients can see published versions, comment and acknowledge receipt. Drafts and internal notes stay private. Acknowledgment is not legal approval or a payment action.
Use Print / Save PDF for a browser-generated PDF. New period and batch actions create private drafts; they do not automatically publish or send emails. Batch creation supports up to 25 contacts and skips existing reports for the exact period.
Updates and removal
Back up before updating. Review installer changes; customized source is protected from silent overwrite. Recovery and uninstall tools are included. Removing source does not delete report history; review retention before removing schema.
