1. Overview

DevLaunch is operated by HYPERCAT STUDIO (“DevLaunch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use devlaunchlearn.com, register for a challenge or class, buy a product, access the portal, or contact us.

2. Notice at Collection

We may collect the following categories of personal information for the purposes described below:

  • Identifiers and contact information: name, email, optional phone number, account identifiers, IP address, and business or website information.
  • Registration and profile information: goals, business needs, bottlenecks, survey responses, and class participation.
  • Commercial information: products purchased, transaction status, entitlement, and support history. Payment card details are handled by Whop and its payment providers, not stored by DevLaunch.
  • Internet and device activity: browser, device, pages viewed, clicks, referral data, and approximate location. Optional analytics are collected only after consent where required.
  • User content: messages, community posts, uploaded content, and material intentionally submitted to demos or AI features.

We use this information to provide requested services, operate accounts and access, deliver events, process purchases, respond to support, prevent abuse, improve the site, comply with law, and—when you consent—send marketing. We retain each category only as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes, including legal, accounting, security, and suppression-list obligations.

3. How We Use Personal Information

  • Register you for and deliver classes, workshops, replays, products, and portal access.
  • Send service messages such as access links, receipts, schedule changes, and support replies.
  • Send newsletters and relevant offers when you have provided marketing consent. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe method.
  • Personalize training examples and understand participant needs.
  • Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Measure and improve our website and offers when optional analytics are enabled.

4. How We Share Information

We disclose information to service providers only as reasonably necessary for them to perform services for us, including:

  • Whop for checkout and payment processing.
  • Clerk for authentication and account management.
  • Convex for database and backend services.
  • Resend for service and consented marketing email.
  • DevLaunch analytics infrastructure for optional, first-party site analytics.
  • Vercel for hosting, delivery, and security.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile for bot detection, abuse prevention, and registration-form security.
  • OpenRouter and selected AI model providers for optional AI features you deliberately use.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business. We do not sell personal information for money or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Cookies and Analytics

Essential storage supports security, authentication, preferences, and requested functionality. Optional DevLaunch page-performance analytics remain off until you choose “Accept analytics.” You can withdraw that choice at any time through Cookie settings. See our Cookie Policy for details.

6. Email and Marketing Choices

Challenge and event registration forms explain the emails you are agreeing to receive. Marketing consent is recorded when you actively select the consent box. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email or contact us. We may retain the minimum information needed to honor your opt-out and may still send non-marketing messages necessary to deliver a purchase, respond to you, or protect an account.

7. VideoFlow Demo AI

VideoFlow demo recordings and edits remain in your browser unless you deliberately use an AI feature. Before first AI use, we request separate consent. For transcription, only the supported recording excerpt is sent through VideoFlow’s server to the selected provider; for writing features, only the transcript text needed for the request is sent.

We may retain a content-free quota and safety record containing pseudonymous identifiers, consent version, request type, status, model, timing, and limited usage metadata. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or third-party content you are not authorized to process. AI results may be inaccurate and require human review.

8. Retention and Security

We keep information for only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including delivering access, maintaining transaction and tax records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and honoring unsubscribe requests. Retention periods vary by record type. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS and access controls, but no electronic system is completely secure.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Know, access, or receive a portable copy of personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate information or request deletion.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing and withdraw consent.
  • Opt out of marketing and, where applicable, sale or sharing.
  • Appeal a decision and receive equal service without discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where allowed by law. DevLaunch does not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no such activity to opt out of.

10. Children, International Use, and Changes

DevLaunch is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Our services are operated from the United States. If you access them elsewhere, information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards. We may update this policy and will post the revised date here. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.
