A year of turning ideas into working things

People here
launch things.

Over the past year, we’ve run multiple cohorts and built alongside our All Access members. Everyone in those groups has launched something—and often multiple things.

01

Full-blown CRMs

Systems that bring a business’s customers, work, and follow-up into one place.

02

Websites that are live

Ideas turned into a real destination someone can visit, use, and share.

03

New iOS apps

Products that have moved beyond the idea stage and onto a phone.

And plenty more: tools, automations, client projects, and the next version of something they’d already started. This cohort gives you a focused place to work on yours.

Less circling. More building.

Give your idea a place on the calendar.

You can have the tools, save the tutorials, and still struggle to make time for your own project. This is a small group of people making that time together.

Build between sessions. Show what changed. Talk through what’s getting in the way. Leave knowing what you’ll work on next.

Bring three things to each check-in
  1. 01 What moved forward?
  2. 02 What’s getting in the way?
  3. 03 What will you do next?

One project, from start to first version

Your 30 days.

The project is yours.
The rhythm is shared.

WEEK 01

Choose your finish line

Pick one project. Make the first version small enough to finish. Decide what someone should be able to do with it.

A clear, achievable scope

WEEK 02

Get the core working

Build the main flow. Bring what’s working, what’s stuck, and the next thing you’re going to tackle to each check-in.

A working core you can show

WEEK 03

Put it in someone’s hands

Let someone try it. Notice where they get stuck, fix the important bits, and resist adding a whole new feature list.

Real feedback on your build

WEEK 04

Finish a version. Share it.

Close the gaps, show your progress to the group, and decide what comes next. Use the final two days to wrap up and share your build.

A first version and a next step

Work toward a version you can put in someone’s hands. Your finish line depends on your scope, starting point, and the time you put in.

Support you can put to work

You bring the idea.
We bring more than check-ins.

Practical resources shared
throughout your 30 days.

01 / Find your starting point

A plan you can work from.

Project-planning guidance to help you narrow the idea, choose a useful first version, and make the next step clear.

02 / Keep moving

Useful examples and references.

Resources drawn from how we build, shared as the group works through real questions and common sticking points.

03 / Make better decisions

Tools and workflows that help.

Recommendations and practical guidance for the work in front of you, so you spend less time circling and more time building.

Make room to show up

Room to build.

9 AM – 9 PM PT

Live check-ins take place within this window. The session schedule will be announced the week the cohort begins, so you’ll need some flexibility in when you can join.

Three check-ins per week for four weeks. The 30-minute private call is arranged separately.

Aaron Rountree seated at a desk in a bright workspace

Your build. A focused conversation.

One-on-one
with Aaron.

Every builder gets one 30-minute private call about their app. Bring the decision, blocker, or scope question that would help you move forward.

Aaron is the founder of DevLaunch. Alongside the team, he builds the software, delivers client projects, and teaches the workflows. Your call puts that experience to work on your project.

Come with a project

A good fit if…

  • You have an idea or a half-finished build you want to move forward.
  • You’re willing to do the work between check-ins.
  • You want accountability, honest feedback, and a small group.
  • You can join meetings within the 9 AM–9 PM Pacific Time window.

A small group works when we show up

Your seat comes
with a commitment.

This is a working group. Come ready to share progress, ask for help, and take your next step. If you can’t make a session, let Aaron know and send a brief update.

If you miss two consecutive sessions without checking in with Aaron, your participation in the cohort will end.

That expectation is the same for paid seats and included All Access seats. It keeps the group active and the commitment meaningful.

A few things to know

Before you join.

What can I work on?

An app, website, internal tool, or automation. Bring one idea or an existing project you want to move forward. The first step is choosing a realistic version to work toward in 30 days.

Is this a class?

The focus is your project and your progress. You build between meetings, then bring an update, a blocker, and a next step. The check-ins give you structure and accountability; the private call gives you focused time with Aaron about your app.

When are the live meetings?

All sessions are online, between 9 AM and 9 PM Pacific Time. The session schedule will be announced the week the cohort begins. Please make sure that time window works for you before joining.

How do the 30 days and 12 check-ins work?

There are three group check-ins per week for four weeks, for 12 total. The final two days are for wrapping up and sharing your build. Your private 30-minute call is separate from those 12 meetings.

Does my seat include the full DevLaunch library?

Your sprint seat includes the check-ins, your private call, and the supporting resources we share during the 30 days. Individual classes, codebase licenses, and DevLaunch All Access remain separate offers. If you already own a useful class or codebase, you can put it to work on your project.

Do I need to know how to code?

You don’t need to be an expert, but you do need to be willing to work on your own build between sessions. Tell Aaron your experience and idea when you get in touch so you can check whether the sprint fits your starting point.

Will Aaron build it for me?

You are the builder. Aaron helps you stay focused, talk through blockers, and choose a practical next step. The sprint does not include done-for-you development or ongoing private debugging.

What resources will I receive?

We’ll share practical resources throughout the 30 days to support the work: project-planning guidance, useful examples, references, and tools we recommend for the problems that come up. They support your build; you don’t need to work through a new course before you can get started.

What if I need to miss a session?

Let Aaron know and send a brief progress update so you stay connected to the group. If you miss two consecutive sessions without checking in with Aaron, your participation in the cohort will end. This expectation applies to both paid and included All Access seats.

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final and non-refundable, including missed sessions or removal under the participation policy, except where required by law.

Are software subscriptions included?

You cover any AI subscriptions, hosting, domains, and other services your project needs. The tools depend on what you choose to build.

Small steps count. Keep taking them.

Your idea deserves
some time this month.
