Make the workspace
feel like your team.
Edit apps/web/components/devlaunch-private-school-admissions/config.ts to set school name, descriptor, default pipeline name, the admissions calendar (file deadline, decision and reply dates, intent and contract due dates, when the spring and summer boards begin) and the entering grades with their open seats, then rebuild. The design applies to the entire web installation. Use separate web installations to evaluate different full-interface kits, rather than stacking their installers.
Starter removal, updates, and rollback
Review unused starter additions for removal in Starter setup before removing the frontend. Server checks preserve edited or published workflows and pipelines with jobs or references. The process targets recorded kit additions rather than sweeping account records.
Preserve your local configuration and source edits. Preview frontend removal with node setup.mjs remove "/path/to/seedly" --dry-run. The automatic uninstaller uses a private restoration receipt and refuses to overwrite later edits. Keep that receipt private and out of public hosting or source exports. Removing frontend files does not remove account data or undeploy backend functions.
For an update, follow the documented removal/install process and reapply your preserved changes. A manually merged installation needs its own private change ledger and reviewed source rollback.
What the workspace records
One contact-linked family holds its parent contact, how it heard about the school, the admissions year, the first contact date and tuition assistance as a label, plus each student applying as a first name and last initial with an entering grade, file status, decision, reply-by date, reply and deposit as recorded, each current student with the intent and contract dates, every tour, open house, visit day and interview, each application item as a checkbox, and an editable checklist.
Inkwell records what the admissions office typed. It makes no accreditation, admissions outcome, financial aid or enrollment statement, and it does not decide, rank or offer anything, run an application portal or testing, hold transcripts, take payments, bill tuition, send contracts, collect signatures or send messages. Students are minors, so a guard against accidental entry refuses the common ways these details get typed: full student names, dates of birth, ages written with a name, test scores and academic grades, learning support, diagnoses, behavior, custody and medical details, along with door, gate and carpool codes, passes, passwords and logins, card, bank, routing, Social Security, passport, driver license and student ID numbers, in recorded text and in the native form drafts. Form answers are capped at 250 characters, names at 80, and phone answers take a phone number only. It is a guard, not a guarantee. A matching Seedly school website template is available separately.
The kit’s original operational screens share the frame with full CRM modules from your own Seedly source. Existing account permissions, feature gates, and configured providers still determine access to those modules.
