Make the workspace
feel like your team.
Edit apps/web/components/devlaunch-independent-bookstore/config.ts to set business name, descriptor and default pipeline name, then rebuild. The design applies to the entire web installation. Use separate web installations to evaluate different full-interface kits, rather than stacking their installers.
Starter removal, updates, and rollback
Review unused starter additions for removal in Starter setup before removing the frontend. Server checks preserve edited or published workflows and pipelines with jobs or references. The process targets recorded kit additions rather than sweeping account records.
Preserve your local configuration and source edits. Preview frontend removal with node setup.mjs remove "/path/to/seedly" --dry-run. The automatic uninstaller uses a private restoration receipt and refuses to overwrite later edits. Keep that receipt private and out of public hosting or source exports. Removing frontend files does not remove account data or undeploy backend functions.
For an update, follow the documented removal/install process and reapply your preserved changes. A manually merged installation needs its own private change ledger and reviewed source rollback.
What the workspace records
One contact-linked record is a special order, an author event, a book club, a school or library order or a regular. A special order holds the customer, their preferred contact, your hold period and its titles, each with title, author, ISBN as typed, format, distributor label, copies, ordered or from stock, and the requested, ordered, expected, arrived, notified, shelved and picked-up dates. Events hold the date, time, room, seats, guest, featured title, RSVPs and copies for signing; clubs hold members and monthly picks; school and library orders hold the purchase order, needed-by date and title lines; regulars hold a want list. Every record has an editable checklist.
Holdslip records what your store wrote down. It is not a point of sale, an inventory system or a distributor's ordering portal: it does not check availability, place orders, quote publisher terms, promise delivery dates, take payments or gift cards, or send calls, texts or emails, and an ISBN is a label you typed. Card numbers, gift card numbers, codes and PINs, POS and distributor portal logins, door and alarm codes and Social Security numbers are refused in recorded text, names included, and in the native form drafts, while ISBN-10 and ISBN-13, prices, copies and purchase orders are kept. A matching Seedly bookstore website template is available separately.
The kit’s original operational screens share the frame with full CRM modules from your own Seedly source. Existing account permissions, feature gates, and configured providers still determine access to those modules.
