From download to your first clean.
Start with the included INSTALL.md. CleanOps is a standalone Next.js, Convex and Better Auth application. You own and operate its installation.
Download and extract
Open CleanOps in your portal library. Download the source and integrity manifest. Check the ZIP’s SHA-256 against its manifest before extracting. Read README.md, INSTALL.md and LICENSE.md.
Explore the sample company
Install Node.js 22.18 or newer, then open the extracted folder in your terminal.
npm ci npm run dev
Open http://127.0.0.1:3231/demo. This workspace stores synthetic practice records in your browser.
Connect your own backend
Run
npm run backendand create a dedicated Convex project. Use its public client and HTTP endpoints in your web configuration. Configure a new backend BETTER_AUTH_SECRET, your exact SITE_URL and a verified transactional sender for account email. Never reuse another product’s backend.Create your company
Open /app, create your owner account and company, edit branding and service templates, then invite verified worker accounts. Configure booking, billing, cancellation terms and schedule defaults through Settings.
Publish and connect providers
Deploy your backend first, then build and host the web app with that backend’s public endpoints. Follow INSTALL.md for Stripe webhooks, service email/SMS and optional Google Calendar/QuickBooks OAuth. Connect your own accounts and enable the workflows you need.
Operate your installation
Follow docs/RECOVERY.md for private data and photo backups, restoration and upgrades. Review worker access and test a full booking-to-invoice flow in your installation. Physical-device setup instructions and offline behavior are in docs/WORKER_GUIDE.md and docs/AUTOMATION_AND_CONNECTIONS.md.
Hosting, domains and provider fees are separate. This is a self-supported source-code purchase; implementation services, managed hosting and guaranteed future updates are not included.
