Make HyperProposal yours.
Start with the local sample, then connect a dedicated backend in your own account. The ZIP includes the full instructions for development, production hosting, optional integrations and ongoing maintenance.
1. Download and verify
Sign in with the email used for your purchase or active All Access membership. Download the source ZIP and checksum from the library. Compare the SHA-256 before extracting the complete archive to a writable private folder.
# macOS shasum -a 256 hyperproposal-0.1.0-alpha.6-source.zip # Linux sha256sum hyperproposal-0.1.0-alpha.6-source.zip # Windows PowerShell Get-FileHash hyperproposal-0.1.0-alpha.6-source.zip -Algorithm SHA256
The extracted folder contains package.json, the lockfile, .npmrc, START_HERE.md, SETUP.md and AGENT_SETUP.md. Keep these together and keep the source private.
2. Try the fictional sample
Install Node.js 22.18 or newer and npm. Open a terminal inside the extracted hyperproposal folder, beside package.json:
npm ci npm run verify:source npm run doctor -- --demo npm run dev
Visit http://localhost:3227/demo. No provider account or environment file is required. The sample uses fictional browser-local records, sends no email or payments, and uses local keyword search. Demo files have a 3 MB limit.
3. Connect your own workspace
npm run setup npm run doctor -- --backend npm run dev
Choose a new, dedicated Convex cloud project and its development deployment. The setup wizard deploys the functions and writes matching local settings. Follow SETUP.md to create your owner account, then close general registration:
npx convex env set ALLOW_SIGNUP false --env-file .env.local npm run doctor -- --backend
Do not copy .env.example over .env.local before running the wizard; it contains placeholders. Preserve existing secrets and verify the selected backend. The installer does not configure SQLite, self-hosted Convex or production deployments.
4. Let your coding agent help
Open the extracted folder in your coding tool. The package includes AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md, AGENT_SETUP.md and docs/AGENT_PROMPTS.md. Begin with this scoped request:
Read START_HERE.md, AGENTS.md and AGENT_SETUP.md in this extracted HyperProposal folder. Install the locked dependencies, verify source integrity, and run doctor in demo mode. Start the fictional sample. Then guide me through selecting my own dedicated Convex development project. Preserve existing secrets and follow SETUP.md. Use synthetic documents and test recipients for installation acceptance.
The agent prompts also cover production preparation, troubleshooting, safe customization and maintenance. Follow the included instructions for your own accounts and credentials.
5. Verify and publish
With the development server stopped, run:
npm run verify
This checks TypeScript, product and installer tests, documentation links, a production build and the runtime dependency audit. Complete docs/INSTALL_ACCEPTANCE.md on your connected installation to verify persistence, recipient routing, consent, downloads and access isolation.
Follow docs/HOSTING.md for a separate production backend and exact HTTPS domain. Your development users and documents are not automatically copied into production. Configure optional Resend, Stripe and AI providers using docs/INTEGRATIONS.md and verify each connection in your own accounts.
Keep the included guides close
- SETUP.md: complete installation and owner-account instructions.
- docs/ENVIRONMENT.md: where each setting belongs.
- docs/TROUBLESHOOTING.md: installation repairs.
- docs/OPERATIONS.md: backups, maintenance and upgrades.
- docs/STATUS.md: delivered capabilities and limits.
Your purchase is self-supported source software. Hosting, domains and provider fees are separate; setup services, ongoing technical support and guaranteed future updates are not included.
