Turn client feedback into proof you can share.
Assign testimonial requests, get customer approval, manage where each story can be used, build case studies and download a complete proof pack in one Kudos update.
A happy client sends a great quote. Then someone needs to check the wording, ask where it can be used, turn it into a story and get the right files to the team. Kudos now brings those steps together in Customer proof. This is one complete update and one source download. These screenshots show the real app with fictional Northstar Studio and Juniper Dental examples; the green video is a synthetic test-camera recording.
- Give every testimonial request an owner and next step.
- Get approval for the exact quote, clip and places you want to share it.
- Prepare an approved customer story and its usable files together.
Keep the next testimonial request moving
Give each request a client or project, owner, due date and next action. The board shows what is waiting to be requested, received or reviewed. A private collection link attaches the submitted response to its request.
Creating a link does not send an email. Share it through the conversation you already have with the client.
Let the customer approve the version you will share
Send a private review link showing the quote, video excerpt, captions and requested usage. The customer can approve that version, request changes or decline. They do not need a Kudos account.
Customer approval is separate from your team's approval. Changing the wording or clip requires another customer review before that proof can be used again. Private review links last 14 days; treat them like a password.
Know where each testimonial can be used
Choose website, social or advertising usage and, when needed, an expiry date. A story approved for your website does not automatically become approved for an advert.
Withdrawn, expired or changed proof is removed from Kudos walls, embeds and public case studies, and cannot be included in a new proof pack. An open wall refreshes when permission changes. Files already downloaded, posts on other services and links shared earlier cannot be recalled.
Older approved testimonials keep their previous behavior until you add explicit usage rules. The update does not invent permission for historic material.
Build a customer story from the problem, work and results
Write and edit the case study in three clear parts. Add verbatim customer quotes and optional result figures, check the facts, then ask the customer to approve the complete story.
A saved AI draft can be brought in as editable text. You still review every claim and figure. Editing an approved story requires fresh approval, and its source testimonials must remain permitted for the intended use.
Share the approved story on its own page
Once the customer approves and the source permissions are current, publish a clean case-study page and share its link. If the story changes or its evidence loses permission, Kudos stops serving that approved page until the requirements are met again.
Hand the team one proof pack
Pick the intended use and download one ZIP with the full quote, an optional quote graphic, an actual video excerpt when there is one, an optional approved case study and usage details. Kudos checks permission again after preparing the files, just before the download.
Complete quote graphics support up to 900 characters. Video excerpts support up to 60 seconds and render in your browser. Longer quotes can go in as text; a testimonial without video does not get a made-up clip.
Use the quote graphic straight from the pack
The quote image uses the customer's approved wording and your project branding. Keep the full quote together with the other approved files instead of copying it into a separate design tool first.
Help customers finish an interrupted response
Collection forms now save answers and recording progress locally in the same browser for seven days. Reopen the same form and private link to recover available progress. A failed upload can be retried, and an identical retry of the final submission does not create a second testimonial.
If the camera is unavailable, customers can switch to a written response, including on a form that asks for video. Local recovery depends on browser storage and recording support; clearing browser data can remove it, and a sudden interruption may lose the last few seconds. Clear saved progress on shared devices.
Try it in your own workspace.

- Set the testimonial's usage channels and expiry, then send a private customer review link. Keep the team's approval step too.
