Take a proposal from first enquiry to kickoff.
Track opportunities, review scope and pricing, collect clearer client decisions, add extra work and hand a signed agreement into delivery—all in one HyperProposal update.
A proposal is one step in a client project. You also need to follow up, agree the scope, protect your pricing and make sure the delivery team knows what was promised. This update connects those steps in your existing HyperProposal workspace. The screenshots use fictional Northstar Studio and Juniper Studio examples in the real app.
- Keep opportunities, forecasts and follow-ups together.
- Review wording and pricing before the client signs the current proposal.
- Carry approved additions, renewals and kickoff tasks into the next stage.
See what needs to happen next.
Give each opportunity a stage, owner, value, probability, expected close date and next action. Link its proposal so sending, negotiation and completion help keep the opportunity current. Record a reason when a deal is lost.
The overview separates currencies and shows a probability-weighted forecast, closed win rate, unchanged opportunities and observed signing time. These are planning figures: winning a deal or collecting a signature does not mean you have been paid.
Make follow-up someone’s job.
Assign a follow-up to a teammate, set its due date and review overdue work together. Edit or reassign it, snooze it for a day, or mark it complete.
These are work reminders. Your teammate still sends the message or makes the call; this queue does not email the client automatically.
Compare your offer before sharing the price.
Owners and administrators can save different pricing scenarios, including private unit costs, discounts and projected margins. Compare one-time, monthly and yearly work separately.
When you choose a scenario, apply it deliberately to the draft. Review the new document and place its signing fields again. The client sees the applied prices; your private unit costs, margins and approval notes stay in the owner and administrator pricing workspace.
Get the right approval before a proposal goes out.
Set approval rules for quote value, discount or minimum projected margin. When a rule applies, an owner or administrator must approve that exact draft before it can be published.
Editing the proposal or changing the rules requires a fresh review. The margin check considers the allowed quote options conservatively, so an attractive default selection cannot hide an unprofitable alternative.
Turn a client request into a reviewed draft.
A client can suggest different wording for a text section and explain why. Review the request, decline it with a note, or accept it into a linked replacement draft.
The published original stays in history while you prepare the revision. A pending wording request holds signing until it is resolved; accepting new wording means the replacement needs to be reviewed and sent. Paragraph suggestions require an editable proposal source.
Give the client a clear replacement to review.
The replacement shows wording and pricing changes together. When you publish it, the old signing links stop working and the original record is retained.
Clients acknowledge that they reviewed the replacement and confirm any required decision items assigned to them before signing. You can use those items for practical decisions such as the launch contact or revised scope. Earlier signatures do not carry into the replacement.
Keep extra work separate from the original agreement.
Create a linked change order from a completed agreement. Describe the additional work, add its own pricing and collect a separate signature.
Client review shows the original accepted amount, the additional work and combined totals by billing period. An unsigned addition is labeled a preview. The original signed agreement stays in place.
Prepare the next term before it arrives.
Set a review or renewal date on a completed agreement and find it in the renewal center. Create a fresh linked draft to review the next term’s scope, dates and pricing.
Creating a renewal does not send it, charge a client or start a subscription. Review and send it deliberately.
Hand delivery a useful kickoff package.
Save the kickoff summary, date, owner and tasks on a completed agreement. Download a readable brief, agreed-scope and pricing JSON, or a task CSV you can import into HyperTask.
The package includes completed linked change orders and leaves pending additions out. Import and review the CSV in HyperTask’s spreadsheet importer; it does not create projects or synchronize the two apps automatically.
Try it in your own workspace.
- Download the updated HyperProposal source ZIP from your portal library. Existing installations should follow docs/OPERATIONS.md and preserve their existing settings and records.
- Open Agency pipeline & agreements in your connected workspace and create an opportunity with its owner and next action.
- Link a proposal, compare its pricing and configure any approval rules you want to use.
- Try a wording suggestion, replacement and required client decision using an example proposal before using them with a client.
- After signing, prepare any additional work, renewal review or kickoff handoff from the completed agreement.
